Loobey's Seven!

Loobey had her birthday last month! She's a big number SEVEN this year! She wanted to have a cowgirl themed party this year so a few weeks before her b-day we went out looking for a pair of cowgirl boots. Unfortunately the only boots we could find were the way nice $100+ boots. Sorry, ain't gonna happen! So looking through the good old local news's online classifieds I found ONE pair of girl's boots which just so happened to be Loobey's size. I couldn't believe it! So thanks to two of my sisters, two of my brothers-in-law, my brother, my mom and my hubby, the boots finally made there way to our house! It was quite the logistical event getting them from 60-ish miles away to our house! It was so worth it! She opened them up on the morning of her birthday and has hardly taken them off since.

Here's Loobey all decked out with her horse cake...

I took pictures of each party friend outlaw! Here's Loobey's. (Pretend it says "Loobey", will ya.)

Then to top it all off, her Grandma Chatelain picked her up and took her horse riding out at her farm. She had a great day!

Her boots crack me up! It must be the age. JJ went through an age where he LOVED his cowboy boots and he wore them to church - one pant leg tucked in, one not - and people still make comments to me about it. I think it is fun when something like that tickles them so.

Happy day to the girlie! (belated)

Cute little Loobey! She can make everything fun. I've never seen anyone so upbeat and happy all the time (at least when I see her). The boots look great!
