I just love that mom has the classic 50's bride look. She is a beauty! Mom's kept this dress in a box in the basement until a couple of years ago when SHE suggested I wear it for Halloween as the "dead bride". All I can say is mom was a skinny, skinny gal. I couldn't even start to do the dress up in the back. If I was on the other computer I'd put a picture of me in the dress on here, so maybe later!
And here they are today...
If I had even one little poetic bone in my body, here's where I'd break out in a creative verse to express my gratitude for them! But, plain and simply put...Mom and dad are the greatest mom and dad!

I love our family! (trivia: what disney movie is that from?) It's only been 50 years? I thought they'd been married forever. In fact I thought 'that' when I was a kid. I keep hoping I have mom's gene's so I will be as slender when I reach my 50th anniv. Their anniv will be fun!!! (wink, wink)
